Power Control Engineers undertake complete power studies including system monitoring and harmonic analysis studies. These studies are then used to design reactive power compensation systems including harmonic filters if necessary. Other areas include automatic power factor correction panels, individual motor power factor correction and motor capacitor assisted starting.
